Oceanside Municipal Golf Course - A very tight, tree-lined layout. Streams and marshes come into play on 14 holes.

Vista Valley Country Club is a Private Equity Club available for use exclusively by its members, their families, and their guests.

Emerald Isle Golf Course - Emerald Isle bills itself as "North County's Most Challenging Executive Course." Water on the third, ninth, 10th, 11th, 15th, 16th and 17th holes does provide a challenge for those who occasionally top their shots.

Oceanside Center City GC - This course in Oceanside is a good test not too short and not too long made even more challenging by the many hills.

Beach:

Fletcher Cove

This San Diego beach is for those who like to combine beaching with other activities such as surfing and basketball. There are also restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and excellent viewpoints. A parking lot with 90 spaces is available free of charge.

Tide Beach Park, Solana Beach
Tide Beach Park is frequented by naturalists who are fascinated with the large reef and tide pools found at this San Diego beach. The beach park also features excellent surfing and snorkeling. There is free parking along the street.

North Seascape Surf, Solana Beach
Surfing and swimming are popular activities at this San Diego beach. There are Two parking lots with 58 free spaces.
